Welcome to MY Pagan Page (wowee!!) and heck it might not be the best page around but it's mine };>. I hold a very simple philosophy in the creation of a web page, namely "more info, less links" (if you want links, just follow one and you'd get plenty of others!). One other thing I kinda like as well is "less graphics, faster download". Think of it this way, you're here for info right?.. not graphics!

Oh yeah.. one more thing, the disclaimer (if you see one) at the bottom of each page is tagged by the web server, not my coding so if yer find it annoying, bug the admin };>

Basic questions and facts

Firstly, none of these following pages are in any way related to Satanism. The pentagram (in the background, if you have a graphical browser), is a symbol of protection amongst many others and it far precedes the rise of Christianity in age and usage. Though since then branded as a Satanic symbol, one must realise that a symbol is just that.. a symbol, its usage is dictated by its user. Just as a knife could be used for aid in cutting as well as violence.

It is adviced to read the rest of these documents with open mind.

Overview

Paganism is a group of highly diverse religions, with various origins. This is due to the many possible definitions of what a Pagan is.
Webster's definition
Pagan, Any religion outside of the "big 5"
(Christianity, Islam, Hindu, Buddhist,Judaism)
Word origin
'paganus' : country dweller
ie. simple religions practiced by those who lived close to the lands (herders, farmers, etc.)
Neo-pagan
as the prefix 'neo-' (new) suggests, this is a rekindling of the older pagan religions. This is usually defined as 'Earth-centered, God and Goddess worshippers'
